因为一旦决定让孩子学钢琴，就意味着每天都要练，孩子只去老师那里上课而没有琴练，效果就会大打折扣，这就等于在浪费学费及增加孩子学琴阻力。去学校的琴房练琴呢，很多家长可能没时间带孩子去，更有一些因为天气太热了不去了、天气太冷了不去了、下雪了不去了、下雨了不去了等等好多原因，导致很难达到练琴的效果。

另外，儿童练琴每次注意力集中不能超过十五分钟，所以应采取“少吃多餐”方式练习，就是一天练三次，每次十五分钟，每次之间起码有一段间隔时间休息，单次练习时间超过半小时，效率就会直线下降，而在琴房练琴，很难做到“少吃多餐”，所以，家里有琴，才能避免这些不利因素。让孩子学琴条件好点，才容易长期坚持。
Besides, children's attention for practicing the piano should be less than 15mins, so it's better to practice three times a day and 15mins each time when practicing, and there should be a break between the practice. If you practice more than half an hour each time, the effciency will plummet.
